Talk about nerve-wracking! But so glad I did it…
As many of you know, I recently spoke at a local event called Ignite Fort Collins. What is Ignite? Well, it’s a series of short, five minute “TED-like” talks. But, there’s a catch- in that 5 minutes, not only do you have to get through 20 slides, but the slides AUTOMATICALLY advance every 15 seconds.

I also want to mention that after I spoke, I felt like I’d “messed up” a few times throughout, and started to get a little bit down on myself (I started “shoulding” on myself, if you will:). I was quickly reminded by my fiance (oh that’s got a nice ring to it:) that it took a lot of courage and vulnerability to stand up in front of that crowd of 460 people and speak about something I’m so passionate about. In the end, I think it turned out really well, and I’m so so glad we did it! So, without further ado, our Ignite Spark:
